Soccer Game Preview: California vs. La Serna

California hasn't had much luck against La Serna recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Condors will challenge the Lancers at 3:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

California is headed into the contest having not lost since the 8th and will look to keep things rolling. They and El Rancho finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, La Serna's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Santa Fe by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that La Serna have lost by just one goal.

La Serna's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12-3. California's draw gives them a new season record of 9-4-4.
