Baseball Recap: Tucker Tigers vs. Ware County Gators
Tucker and Ware County squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but sadly Tucker had to settle for second. They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 13-2 walloping at the hands of the Ware County Gators. Tucker has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Tucker saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David Stenard, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Alec Waller, who scored a run and stole two bases.
Tucker's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Ware County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.
