Softball Recap: Mundy's Mill Comes Up Short

Mundy's Mill lost against Miller Grove back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers lost 17-4 to the Wolverines. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dyanna Griffin stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season. Daijah Wilson was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Mundy's Mill's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Miller Grove, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-1.

Mundy's Mill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Miller Grove, they will be playing in front of their home fans against M.L. King at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
