Softball Recap: Purcell Starts Season with Loss at Home

Purcell unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Lindsay Leopards by a score of 2-0 on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Dragons in their meetings with the Leopards: they've now lost three in a row.

Coming up, Purcell will venture away from home to square off against Tahlequah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lindsay, they will square off against Marietta at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
