First Baptist came tearing into Friday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 52-14 win over the Sacred Heart Tigers. The result was nothing new for the Saints, who have now won six games by 24 points or more so far this season.

A big part of First Baptist's victory came down to the chemistry between Dylan Jones and his top target Lincoln Schleif. Jones threw for 325 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes while Schleif picked up 187 receiving yards and three scores. Those 325 passing yards gave Jones a new career-high.

First Baptist's record is now 9-2. As for Sacred Heart, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

First Baptist and Sacred Heart will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Saints see the field they'll take on the Indians at 7:00 p.m. on the 20th. As for Sacred Heart, their break will end when they face Brazos Christian at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st.
