Baseball Recap: Bowsher Comes Up Short

Bowsher lost to Sandusky back in April of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rebels took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Streaks. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Donovan McClellan was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Bowsher: the team is 8-3 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-10 otherwise.

Bowsher's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Sandusky, their record is now 7-12.

Bowsher does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sandusky, they will be playing at home against Fostoria at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Redmen have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.88 runs per game on average), something the Blue Streaks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
