Preview: Bloomfield Bees vs. Creighton Bulldogs
The Bloomfield Bees will take on the Creighton Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
Bloomfield can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They walked away with a 50-39 win over Creighton.
It was another big night for Madison Abbenhaus, who scored 25 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Bloomfield's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kora Poppe, who scored 11 points.
Bloomfield's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Creighton, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
Bloomfield beat Creighton 50-39 in their previous matchup on Thursday. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bloomfield since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
