Volleyball Recap: Holmes Takes Down Research Triangle in a Playoff Battle

Holmes had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Research Triangle Raptors with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Aces.

One reason for the win was Holmes' just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-12, 25-11.

Holmes' win bumped their record up to 23-3. As for Research Triangle, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-5.

Holmes wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Research Triangle Academy on the 23rd. Research Triangle does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
