Basketball Recap: Orange Comes Up Short

If Orange was riding high fresh off their 57-12 takedown of Santiago last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Orange Panthers fell to the Santa Ana Valley Falcons 32-26. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Santa Ana Valley was led to victory by Jayleen Roldan and Jocelyn Guadalupe. Roldan posted 15 points, while Guadalupe earned 13 points.

Orange's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Santa Ana Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-13 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orange has already played their next matchup (against Los Amigos), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Santa Ana Valley has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against La Quinta.
