Softball Recap: Madison County Comes Up Short

Madison County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Walnut Grove Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-5 back in September.

Madison County's loss dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Walnut Grove, they pushed their record up to 11-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Madison County will square off against Social Circle at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Walnut Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
