Softball Recap: Brookfield Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Brookfield proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Schuyler County Rams, sneaking past 13-11. The Bulldogs' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The win (which was Brookfield's third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Schuyler County, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Coming up, Brookfield is taking a road trip to face off against Milan at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Schuyler County, they will welcome Westran at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
