Football Recap: Friendly Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friendly extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 16-14 heartbreaker at the hands of the Central Falcons. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

As for Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.7 points on average this season.

Deangelo Bryant was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 203 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 11 passes, and also rushed for 66 yards. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2024.

Coming up, Friendly will head out on the road to face off against Fairmont Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Surrattsville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
