Softball Game Preview: Kingfisher Yellowjackets vs. Plainview Indians

For the second straight game, Kingfisher will face off against Plainview. The Yellowjackets will challenge the Indians at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Kingfisher's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Plainview's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Thursday, Kingfisher came up short against Plainview and fell 5-1. That's two games in a row now that the Yellowjackets have lost by exactly four runs.

Plainview is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Kingfisher, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-6.
