While Shrine Catholic's win against Clawson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Trojans on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won six in a row.

Shrine Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 20-9. As for Clawson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-10-1 record this season.

Shrine Catholic and Clawson should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Knights will face off against Everest Collegiate at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (215 vs. 482). Meanwhile, Clawson (ranked 211th) will meet Rose Leadership Academy (ranked 575th) at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
