Baseball Recap: Bartlett Takes a Loss

Bartlett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the South Anchorage Wolverines, falling 11-3. If the Golden Bears were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Wolverines when the teams met back in May of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jodin Nilsson was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with three stolen bases and one RBI.

Bartlett's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for South Anchorage, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4-1 record this season.

Bartlett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Anchorage, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Chugiak at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wolverines 3.4, the Mustangs 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
