While Eaton put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Platte Valley. The Reds were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over the Broncos. Considering the Reds have won 15 games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Kenzie Braddy made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one triple.

In other batting news, Eaton let Johanna Galvan and Bria Foster run wild. Galvan fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-3, while Foster fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-2. Those three runs gave Foster a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Emma Anderson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Eaton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Platte Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-11.

Eaton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 15-0 win against Weld Central on the 7th. Platte Valley has also already played their next game (against Strasburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
