Dewey made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Miami, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bulldoggers fell just short of the Wardogs by a score of 3-1 on Friday. The Bulldoggers' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Dewey's loss dropped their record down to 24-8. As for Miami, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4.

Dewey didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-4 victory against Skiatook on the 19th. As for Miami, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Fort Gibson on the 19th.
