Waynesburg Central piles up the points against California

Recap: Waynesburg Central Raiders vs. California Trojans

The Waynesburg Central Raiders can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent match on Monday. They breezed by California on the road to the tune of 67-38. Given Waynesburg Central's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while California is ranked 526th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Kaley Rohanna, who scored 28 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. She is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Josie Horne, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 16 rebounds.

Waynesburg Central is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season. As for California, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.

Waynesburg Central will be playing at home against Seton LaSalle at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Waynesburg Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Monday. California does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
