Roosevelt barely beat Mason City the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Roughriders never let the Mohawks get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Roosevelt, who have now won seven contests by four goals or more so far this season.

Roosevelt pushed their record up to 10-0-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six matches. As for Mason City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8-2 record this season.

Roosevelt has already played their next contest, a 5-0 win against St. Ansgar on the 6th. As for Mason City, they will square off against Waterloo East at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
