Baseball Recap: New Lisbon Takes a Loss

If New Lisbon was riding high fresh off their 26-17 takedown of Almond-Bancroft on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rockets lost 15-3 to the Parkview Vikings on Saturday.

New Lisbon's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Parkview, they moved to 7-9 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Coming up, New Lisbon will square off against Brookwood at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rockets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Parkview, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 9-1 victory against Rio on the 16th.
