Basketball Recap: Glendale Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 19-19 at halftime, Glendale was not quite Northern Bedford County's equal in the second half on Monday. They took a 34-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northern Bedford County Panthers. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 37-23 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

When it comes to explaining why Glendale lost, don't look at Madison Peterson. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten boards.

Glendale now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Northern Bedford County, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Glendale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 46-33 defeat against Blacklick Valley on the 18th. Northern Bedford County has also already played their next game, a 56-42 loss against Mount Union on the 19th.
