Softball Recap: Wright City's Win Ends Eight-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wright City). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Liberty Tigers a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Lumberjax not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 17, 2024 (when they won 11-0).

Wright City's victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6. As for Liberty, they are on an 18-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-22.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Wright City beat the Tigers by a score of 12-0 later that day.
