Basketball Recap: Pottstown Piles Up the Points Against Antietam

Pottstown won the last time they faced Antietam and things went their way on Thursday too. The Trojans simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Mountaineers 65-19.

Jayanna Hill had a dynamite game, putting up 30 points. Another player making a difference was Mayliah Newman, who posted 13 points.

Pottstown's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Antietam, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Pottstown and Antietam will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Trojans are set to take on their familiar foe Upper Perkiomen at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Antietam will challenge rival Kutztown at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
