Basketball Game Preview: Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS vs. Carlmont Scots

The Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS will square off against the Carlmont Scots at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams were dealt some close losses in their previous games and are determined not to let this one get away.

Hillsdale easily dispatched Mills last Wednesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Hillsdale fell just short of Menlo-Atherton by a score of 48-46 on Friday. While the FIGHTING KNIGHTS didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bears 10-5 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Carlmont didn't have quite enough to beat Mills on Wednesday and fell 49-47. The Scots haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Carlmont's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Hillsdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-4.

Hillsdale strolled past Carlmont in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 58-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hillsdale since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
