Pierce County came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Cook Hornets by a score of 6-2. This was a revenge game for the Bears: when they faced off against the Hornets on September 11th, they had to take a 11-3 loss.

Pierce County's win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Cook, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-3.

Looking ahead, Pierce County will challenge Metter at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cook, they will head out to challenge Berrien at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
