Soccer Game Preview: Rock Springs Christian Academy vs. Heritage

The Rock Springs Christian Academy Eagles will head out to face off against the Heritage Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Tuesday, Rock Springs Christian Academy didn't have quite enough to beat LaGrange Academy and fell 3-2.

Asher Cecil and William Barrow scored both of the Eagles' goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Meanwhile, Heritage came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 7-2 margin over the Bobcats. Considering Heritage have won seven games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Heritage's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those five contests. As for Rock Springs Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.
