Soccer Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Franklin Panthers. Considering the last time the Tigers couldn't score was back in December of 2024, the team can't take the result too hard.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for Franklin, they now have a winning record of 4-3-1.

Lincoln will challenge Marshall at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Marshall has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 14 goals over their last three matchups. As for Franklin, they will head out on the road to face off against Eagle Rock at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
