Basketball Recap: Millennium Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Millennium extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Sarah Digiallonardo. The Millennium Falcons managed a 39-35 victory over the Aspire Langston Hughes Academy Titans on Tuesday thanks in part to Digiallonardo, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 17 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last 14 games she's played.

Millennium has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Aspire Langston Hughes Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.

Millennium has already played their next game (against River Islands), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Aspire Langston Hughes Academy will be playing at home against Turlock Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Turlock Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
