Recap: North Valley Christian Academy Lions vs. Wickenburg Wranglers
The North Valley Christian Academy Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 26-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wickenburg. North Valley Christian Academy lost against Wickenburg in their previous head to head on Friday, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 28-19 score last time.
Despite the defeat, North Valley Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Triniti Terracciano scored 18 points along with 3 steals. Terracciano is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalina Santor, who scored 2 points along with 4 steals.
North Valley Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Wickenburg, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
North Valley Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Monday against Bagdad at 5:00 p.m. Bagdad comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Wickenburg is on the road again on Saturday and play against Camp Verde at 12:00 p.m. on December 2nd.
