Soccer Game Preview: Locust Grove vs. Trinity Christian

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Locust Grove face off against the Trinity Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Locust Grove's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Locust Grove saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of Hampton by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Trinity Christian kept a clean sheet against Villa Rica on Friday. Everything went their way against the Wildcats as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

They hit Villa Rica with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Eli Heath, Jackson Upshaw, and Niko Pagsisihan.

Locust Grove now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Trinity Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Locust Grove took their win against Trinity Christian in their previous matchup back in March of 2020 by a conclusive 8-0. Will Locust Grove repeat their success, or does Trinity Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
