Basketball Recap: Centre County Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Centre County Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 39-18 to the Blair County Christian Bobcats. Centre County Christian Academy was probably out for revenge after losing 36-24 to them when the teams met last Thursday, then they'll just have to keep looking.

It was another big night for Gabi Dull, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 boards for Blair County Christian. That makes it three consecutive games in which Dull has scored at least a third of Blair County Christian's points. Rylie Oldham was another key player, putting up six points and nine steals.

Centre County Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Blair County Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Centre County Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Great Commission at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Blair County Christian also won't see the court for a while: their next matchup is against Bedford County CIA at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Blair County Christian's defense has only allowed 24.3 points per game this season, so Bedford County CIA's offense will have their work cut out for them.
