After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Liberty, Antioch was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the Deer Valley Wolverines onto the board and left with a 7-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won seven matchups by five goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Deer Valley from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Analyssa Salazar led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Antioch now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Deer Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Heritage the next time they take the pitch. Deer Valley will head out to face Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Antioch will host them at 6:00 p.m. on February 11th.
