Softball Recap: Joseph City Extends Home Winning Streak to 22

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sahuarita, Joseph City was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Mogollon Mustangs with a sharp 12-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won ten matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Joseph City got a big performance out of Amber Neill, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of April Neill, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Joseph City's win was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Mogollon, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Joseph City wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 13-5 win against Round Valley on the 27th. As for Mogollon, they have also already played their next game, a 12-5 defeat against Bagdad on the 28th.
