Englewood is 0-3 against Christ's Church Academy since November of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Englewood Rams will welcome the Christ's Church Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m.
Last Friday, Englewood ended up a good deal behind Sandalwood and lost 47-33. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vincent Witherspoon put forth a good effort for the losing side as he went 5 of 8 on his way to 15 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. Thomas Mitchell was another key player, putting up six points.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Christ's Church Academy). They blew past Trinity Christian Academy 73-39 on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on five straight.
Christ's Church Academy's win came from a few key players Englewood will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Michael Jativa, who went 8 for 20 en route to 27 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Olson, who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine boards.
Christ's Church Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive rebound total in three consecutive matches.
Christ's Church Academy pushed their record up to 13-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28 points. As for Englewood, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Englewood has been crashing the rebounds this season, having averaged 32.1 boards per game. However, it's not like Christ's Church Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 29.9 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Englewood might still be hurting after the 62-39 loss they got from Christ's Church Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Jativa, who went 9 of 18 on his way to 25 points and three steals. Now that Englewood knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
