Baseball Recap: Flint River Academy's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four games, Flint River Academy finally came back down to earth on Monday. They fell 7-2 to the Crawford County Eagles. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Flint River Academy fell to 6-1. As for Crawford County, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Flint River Academy will take on Skipstone Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Skipstone Academy has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.78 runs per game on average), something Flint River Academy will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Crawford County, they will face off against Pike County at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday.
