Soccer Recap: Eastside Extends Winning Streak to Four

Eastside's game on Friday was close up to the half, which is when they kicked things up a notch. Everything went their way against the Cedar Shoals Jaguars as the Eastside Eagles made off with a 5-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won three matches by four goals or more so far this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Eastside, bringing their record for this year to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those four contests. As for Cedar Shoals, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastside will venture away from home to face off against Walnut Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Walnut Grove is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season. As for Cedar Shoals, they will challenge East Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
