The Highland Scots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Centennial on the road and fell 91-9. Highland has struggled against Centennial recently, as their contest on Monday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

It was another big night for Kai Shaw, who dropped a triple-double on 15 points, ten rebounds, and 11 steals for Centennial. Those 11 steals set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of LuLu Flores , who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.

Highland's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-10. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 13.5 points per game. As for Centennial, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4.

Highland will be playing at home against Independence at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Independence focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Friday. Stockdale will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1082nd, while Centennial is ranked 161st).
