Tallulah Falls barely beat West-Oak the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Indians' pitcher stepped up to hand the Warriors  a   10-0 shutout  on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 14 matchups by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
 Chase Pollock made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out nine over six innings pitched. That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with four  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Diego Gonzalez, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  runs, one  triple,  and one  double. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in April of 2024.  Ashton Roache was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
Tallulah Falls is  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for West-Oak,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-17.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tallulah Falls will challenge Dominion Christian at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Knights will roll in looking for their  17th straight  victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight. As for West-Oak, they will face off against St. Joseph's Catholic at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
