Soccer Recap: CHAMPS Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, CHAMPS was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They came up short against the Lakeview Charter Lions, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 two weeks ago.

CHAMPS has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which lines up perfectly with their 1-7-1 record this season. As for Lakeview Charter, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5-2.

Coming up, CHAMPS will be playing at home against Community Charter at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lakeview Charter, they will venture away from home to square off against Valley Oaks CES at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
