Stuart took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Niobrara/Verdigre Cougars 60-25. The victory continues a trend for the Broncos in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won nine in a row.

Kayde Ramm went supernova, dropping a double-double with 17 points and ten boards. His morning made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Drew Schmaderer, who posted 16 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

Stuart was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Niobrara/Verdigre only posted five.

Edward Drobny and Kash Neilsen certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Drobny scored four points and seven boards, while Neilsen put up five points along with 12 rebounds and four steals.

Stuart has already played their next matchup, a 55-51 defeat against Central Valley on the 5th. As for Niobrara/Verdigre, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 62-36 loss against Elgin/Pope John on the 5th.
