Baseball Recap: Bowdon's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

It's playoff time, and Bowdon had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Lake Oconee Academy Titans on Wednesday. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 matches by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Bowdon's seventh in a row) raised their record to 27-9. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Lake Oconee Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-10.

Coming up, Bowdon will take on Lanier County on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Red Devils surely won't give up without a fight. Lake Oconee Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
