Basketball Game Preview: Muncy Indians vs. Line Mountain Eagles

The Muncy Indians will face off against the Line Mountain Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Line Mountain will be up against a hot Muncy squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Muncy claimed a resounding 51-21 victory over South Williamsport.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Line Mountain over Montgomery in every quarter on their way to victory on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Line Mountain blew Montgomery out of the water with a 61-11 final score. With the Eagles ahead 38-3 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Muncy's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Line Mountain, they are also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season.

Muncy beat Line Mountain 50-43 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Will Muncy repeat their success, or does Line Mountain have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
