Football Recap: Dimmitt Continues Home Dominance on Friday + How To Watch

Dimmitt hadn't done well against Tulia recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bobcats strolled past the Hornets with points to spare, taking the game 70-54. This was payback for the Bobcats, who suffered a 20-12 loss the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Tulia still got an impressive performance from Jacob Trevino, who threw for 531 yards and seven TDs while completing 80.5% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. The Hornets are 2-1 when Trevino posts three or more passing touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise. Logan Becerra was Trevino's top target, picking up 108 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Dimmitt's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.5 points. As for Tulia, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
