The Valley Christian Academy Lions can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Coast Union 56-8 at home. The win was a breath of fresh air for Valley Christian Academy as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Valley Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Katelyn Mikkelson, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Elle Mason, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and seven steals.
Valley Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Coast Union, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
Valley Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Shandon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
