Softball Recap: Pocahontas' Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against East Sac County last Wednesday, Pocahontas came back down to earth. The Indians fell just short of the Central Springs Panthers by a score of 6-5 on Friday.

Pocahontas' loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-8. As for Central Springs, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-14 record this season.

Pocahontas does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Springs, they will host West Fork on Monday. The Warhawks' pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
