After flying high against Baldwin last Wednesday, Jasper County came back down to earth. The Hurricanes lost 10-2 to the Social Circle Redskins on Tuesday. The Hurricanes' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Jasper County's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Social Circle, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jasper County will head out to face off against Taylor County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vikings' pitching crew has only allowed 1.7 runs per game this season, so the Hurricanes' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Social Circle, they will venture away from home to take on Madison County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Raiders will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
