Recap: Rim of the World Fighting Scots vs. Big Bear Bears
Even though the Rim of the World Fighting Scots have not done well against the Big Bear Bears recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Everything went Rim of the World's way against Big Bear as Rim of the World made off with a 43-21 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Rim of the World also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Big Bear's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Colby Allen, who scored 6 points. Another player making a difference was Jasmin Gallegos, who scored 6 points.
The win got Rim of the World back to even at 3-3. As for Big Bear, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rim of the World will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bloomington at 5:30 p.m. on December 14th. As for Big Bear, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Granite Hills at 5:30 p.m. Granite Hills is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
