Football Recap: Southern Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to 49 points the game before, Southern was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were beaten by the Fort Hill Sentinels 49-12. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland football rankings (they are ranked 191st, while the Sentinels are ranked 16th).

Southern now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Fort Hill, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southern will head out to square off against East Hardy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fort Hill, they will take on Hollidaysburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Tigers' defense has only allowed 10.5 points per game this season, so the Sentinels' offense will have their work cut out for them.
