Football Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Kennedy extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 0-2. They were dealt a 46-6 loss at the hands of the Richard Montgomery Rockets. The Cavaliers lost against the Rockets in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 2-0 score last time.

As for Richard Montgomery, the victory got them back to even at 1-1. They not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 26, 2024 (when they won 52-6).

Richard Montgomery's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dylan Webster, who threw for 297 yards and five touchdowns on only 18 passes. Those 297 passing yards gave Webster a new career-high. Gerard Woods Jr was Webster's top target, picking up 136 receiving yards and three scores.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennedy will host Watkins Mill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Richard Montgomery, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Magruder at 7:00 p.m.
