Basketball Game Preview: North Allegheny Tigers vs. Washington Tigers

The North Allegheny Tigers will square off against the Washington Tigers at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday.

Last Saturday, North Allegheny was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 43-38 to Chartiers Valley.

Meanwhile, Washington put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Harding as Washington made off with a 62-40 victory. The 62-point effort marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Washington's win came from a few key players North Allegheny will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jaryn Wolff, who went 8 for 14 on her way to 19 points. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Nicola, who went 8 of 13 on her way to 21 points and three steals.

North Allegheny's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Washington, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
